Structural/Civil Engineer – Evansville, IN
We have an immediate opening for a Structural/Civil Engineer in our Headquarters Office located in Evansville, Indiana. Responsibilities include Assist Senior Engineers with design, inspection, manufacturing, estimating, purchasing and coordinating heavy industrial structures and equipment. Prepare construction work plans to submit to fed/state agencies, including MSHA, OSHA. Site visits to collect technical information, evaluate geotechnical conditions, evaluate new/existing structures. Liaise between owner and engineering team. Manage medium/large projects from concept to design to fabrication. Apply knowledge of structural design/analyses of concrete and steel structures to surface and underground structures and equipment used in mining/heavy civil industry. The successful candidate will have a Master’s degree in Structural Civil Engineering, and Engineer In Training certificate or Professional Engineer license. 4 years of experience in design/analyses of steel/concrete structures, large foundations including mats, caissons, steel piles, shallow foundations. Working knowledge of AutoCAD, RISA 3D, and the ability to quickly learn other software. Proven ability to apply principles of civil engineering, stellar analytical ability. Some travel is required. Electrical Field Supervisor - MSHA Certified Electrician
We have an immediate opening for an experienced MSHA certified electrician to supervise field operations. Based in Evansville, Indiana. Responsibilities include supervising the installation and start-up of electrical equipment at mine development projects throughout the country, working with site electricians and acting as a liaison between the Electrical Services Department and field projects. The successful candidate will have a minimum of 5 years experience with DC & AC drive systems, PLC work and supervisory experience; MUST hold MSHA certificates for surface and underground work; high, medium and low voltage. Extensive travel required. Selected candidate may be based out of either the corporate office or a home office. Experienced Civil/Structural CAD Designer – Evansville, IN
We have an immediate opening for an experienced Civil / Structural CAD Designer. Based in Evansville, IN FKCI develops projects nationwide. Current opening in at corporate headquarters in Evansville, IN Prepares drawings such as general arrangements, structural l details, installation plans, and shop & building drawings. Checks drawings for dimensions and spelling errors. Interacts with shop, job sites and vendors during drawing preparation to ensure constructability. Performs material quantity estimates and material orders. Inspects existing equipment and structures as well as on-going projects to insure quality and correctness of work. Meets assigned project schedules by working required overtime as directed. Makes frequent trips to on-site shop. May be required to make periodic trips to field job sites. Requires an A.S. Degree in a related area or equivalent training. Five to ten years experience in a similar position. Competency with AutoCAD. Strong written and verbal communication skills.
