Civil / Structural Engineer – Evansville, IN

As a member of our engineering team, the candidate must be able to design and analyze equipment and structures, work in a fast-paced environment, and handle multiple tasks. The candidate should possess sufficient education and/or experience to begin project assignments without extensive training. Minimum qualifications include a BS in Civil Engineering (or closely related) and the ability to work with CAD design software. Eligibility for P.E. licensure is desirable. This position reports to the Project Superintendent and involves management of the local project office including payroll administration, human resources administration, supporting compliance efforts related to federal , state and local taxes and workforce programs. The selected candidate will be involved in setting up the project office. Candidates should have previous experience in accounts payable, payroll administration, purchasing, general office administration. The position requires strong organizational/time management skills; effective oral & written communication skills, be highly motivated, self-directed and able to manage multiple priorities. A minimum of five years experience as a business / office manager in a dynamic environment is required. Project / Construction experience preferred. Candidates should have a minimum of three years of experience in construction safety, and previous experience in tunneling or mine construction. Strong organization / time management skills, effective oral / written communication skills and the ability to manage multiple priorities are required.
