FKC-Lake Shore and Frontier-Kemper Constructors, Inc. were contracted to supply Century Mining, LLC with complete, turn-key packages for Longview Mine's new service and slope portals. The contract was later amended to add the construction of a 16-ft. diameter, raise-drilled ventilation shaft equipped with a used Emergency Escape Hoist. FKC-Lake Shore's scope of work included:
